Bilya Koort Boodja, Centre for Nyoongar Culture and Environmental Knowledge Northam sits as a frozen vessel hovering above the flood plain collecting and holding culture for the local community, state, national and international visitors. Local Aboriginal stories about community, environment and culture are carefully revealed through a building that welcomes and educates. The building is the centre of local culture allowing visitors to then explore the wider terrain.
