The Pharmacy was designed around three major elements that capture attention from a distance enticing customers with health, well being and beauty. These elements include the ‘wrap of beauty’ a red velvet carpet that rolls out to welcome and then rolls up and on to the ceiling while displaying fragrances. The ‘wrap of health’ ironically forms a shifted cross, studded recycled rubber (one walks on a bed of small pills) encases the numerous and continually growing collection of vitamin tablets.
The walls meander and un-roll containing goods for sale, the office and storage, collecting everything in to one ‘clean and healthy’ surface.
Free-standing pill shaped mobiles vary from pink to green, (the conservative and the radical or the feminine and the organic), strategically positioned to encourage movement deep in to the pharmacy.
