collie street mixed use development fremantle

This mixed use development formed part of a broader vision and master plan for Collie and Nairn Street in Fremantle. We commenced with a master plan that respected the scale of surrounding buildings, restored historic buildings and developed unique Fremantle qualities of in-between spaces, alleyways, piazzas and ground level cafe engagement and posing. Designed to be developed over multiple stages these qualities would grow with subsequent stages, an elevated lane way with fig trees and edible plant species encourages residents to stop, sit and converse, new piazzas increase public space and places to gather, elevated decks allow views to the famous harbour. The cultural diversity of Fremantle is reflected in these qualities and the multiple accommodation types with 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, studio apartments with mezzanines and townhouse apartments with elevated viewing decks.
